EX-WBO CHAMP TANAKA, PATILANO TO COLLIDE TODAY

May 28, 2016

NAGOYA, JAPAN

Former WBO 105-pound champ, unbeaten enfant terrible who won the world belt in his fifth pro bout, Kosei Tanaka (6-0, 3 KOs), still 20, will participate in his first bout today (Saturday) after renouncing the belt to campaign in the 108-pound category when he faces IBF#10 ranked light-fly contender Rene Patilano (15-1-2, 7 KOs) over ten non-title rounds in Nagoya, Japan. The confident-looking Tanaka said, gIfll knock him out. I wonft see nothing but a knockout over Patilano.h But he should be careful and cautious since a Filipino fighter is usually tough and ambitious as shown by a latest stunning upset victory of John Riel Casimero over Amnat Ruenroeng in China this Wednesday. Take care, Tanaka.
