WBC bantamweight champion, unbeaten Japanese southpaw Shinsuke Yamanaka was awarded a gorgeous Hublot watch as a token of his ten successful defenses by WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman en route to his Asian trip on Friday in Tokyo, Japan. The celebrating conference took place at the office of the Japan Boxing Commission before the JBC executive and our press people in attendance. Yamanaka said, gI wished to acquire the WBC green belt since I was a junior high school student. Having kept my belt ten times, I am very happy to have such citations and prizes from the WBC.h The president praised Yamanakafs achievements, saying, gYamanaka has defeated all leading available contenders so far and will be eligible to fight in any unification bout with another champion or move up to the higher category. Whatever way he may go, the WBC will support his future as the honor of our organization.h

After the ceremony Sulaiman took time with our press people on various matters, and introduced a new instrument of noise-preventing earphone so that judges will be able to concentrate on watching action without being disturbed by the roaring crowd. The innovating president said, gIt is still at the stage of experiment and trial, but if proven effective enough, the WBC will positively put it into practice in the nearest future.h
