Former OPBF feather champ Hiroshige Osawa (26-3-4, 15 KOs), 126, displayed a fine form in finishing Thai #1 super-bantam contender Nongdear Sor. Bangkhru (11-8, 3 KOs), 123, with a vicious body shot at 2:10 of the third round in a scheduled ten on Sunday in Osaka, Japan. Osawa, then OPBF ruler, was once suspended for one year by Japan Boxing Commission (JBC) since he participated in an interim WBO Asia Pacific feather title bout in Korea by submitting a false contract saying it was only a non-title bout?in December 2012?when the JBC still hadnft affiliated with the WBO, which became recognized from 2013. After his suspension was over, Osawa engaged in three bouts, winning all within the distance.

Osawa outjabbed the aggressive Thailander and connected with solid combinations upstairs and downstairs, decking him twice and for the count. Osawa, now OPBF#12/JBC#12, may zoom up again with a proper guidance on his comeback trail.

Promoter: Romanza Miyabi Promotions.
